One of the greatest perks as a wedding planner is when you get to plan a friends wedding. Marc & Eric’s wedding was definitely one for the books as it was our first LGBT wedding. Tucked away is this lovely garden setting in the heart of LA called Cafe Pinot. You would never know it was there with the hustle and bustle of the LA life and the skyscrapers. Both grooms got ready at the sleek and modern Standard Hotel. Which was perfect for them. I mean just look how handsome and stylish they are.
The ceremony takes place in the Maguire Garden under the cypress trees and the reception in the courtyard of the Cafe Pinto restaurant. The famous Los Angeles Public Library is set as an incredible backdrop for the guests to enjoy. The most memorable moment besides the “I Do’s” was by far the first dance. A super funky mix of 80’s-90’s hits that was choreographed to perfection. I wish I had a video of it…..it was seriously AMAZING! Working with them was such a treat and we cherish all the little moments we had.
